apps changing on their own?
 

not sure if this is happening to anyone else but its getting annoying..its doing this on mine and my gf phone.... sometimes SOME of the apps would change on their own..what i mean is the icon all of a sudden would like be a blank one or something.... and i would have to uninstall it and reinstall it for it to all come back..... just like my handcent sms today, it had the X for an icon..i reinstalled and it was ok.... or sometimes the names of the applications would change... like my handcent would change to like sdcard something something (forgot what it said)...

anyone had the same issues?

What I am getting right now is that all of a sudden I have multiple icons in my programs menu.. anyone know why that might be?

I don't know if I am experiencing the same thing as you are, but I've noticed that after a soft reset (if that is what you call it with Android) my Astro file explorer icon changed from an orange A to a generic folder with a green refresh symbol - yet it still worked. I switched to the Linda explorer. The only other example I have is with GPS Status - icon didn't change, but it isn't labeled as GPS Status anymore, instead it reads ?/pre/xml (or something similar to that) - it still works too. Strange. A coworker who seems to know Android tried to explain the phenomenon to me but I didn't understand.

Astro icon breaks because of soft reset

Handcent x problem fixed in latest update

imusic says scanning sd card after soft reset

No idea whats going on and I hope imusic and astro fix these issues.

I have the problem where a handful my apps' icons will change names or even the icon graphic will change.

It's an error that occurs after reseting the phone. Yeah its annoying, I don't turn my phone off now so it seems to help. Still we need a fix.
