Track Ball Cleaning

This little bugger seems to be a dirt magnet. First time I cleaned it I used a slightly damp paper towel. Only problem is that I can see tiny fibers sticking it. Today I dampened a small corner of a lint free cloth and dried it with the other side. I wonder how bad the inside will get over time. Remember how linty old mice used to get ? I'm just curious what other hero owners are doing to keep it looking nice.

I so wanted to call this thread 'How dirty are your balls'

Do you use the trackball much? It seems to be secondary to the touch sceen.

i.e. how often does everyone play with their balls?

Most of my ball touching happens when i surf web pages and play on facebook, it helps pan threw links instead of accidently hitting them.

I have noticed you have to use it for Excel Spread sheets also. I have tried using my finger on the screen and it will re size the boxes.

I get a ball workout while editing texts. Ball touching is easier than tapping the right spot every time.

Yeah, with the high cost of balls these days, they should've used that boatload of cash on something else. Actually, i think Lance Armstrong could use one...
