Hero NEEDS Dictionary EDITING!!!

Is it just me or is it extremely frustrating that you can't edit the Hero's text dictionary. I mean I used the "fix" to clear ALL the data, but that doesnt cut it because then I have to start over teaching my dictionary words everytime there is a mistake. Having those incorrect words that have been accidentally added in my dictionary is really messing up the typing experience. I looked on the web and it seems that stock Android has the ability to edit the dictionary. Why would HTC remove this. My TP had it and it was great WTF?! I remember how many weird words my TP would save but now there is no way top delete them and its more of an issue with the Hero than it was on the TP because its soft KB only! This is a really annoying issue to me which should have a simple solution, especially if it was a native function in Android.

Hero def needs editing! I like the option to add words but then I accidentally add a word a week that I don't want haha. I can type around them and it really isn't as big of a problem as I would like to say it is, but I would love to remove some of the words.

Oh I just found this http://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/22996

Go to settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Touch Input > Clear data. This will clear everything you have added to the dictionary.

I'd say thats an acceptable alternative, though i wouldn't mind being able to keep words i do want.

Good find but kind of annoying that we can't just edit the dictionary, maybe HTC will add that to the list of fixes?
