WINmobile on HERO? is it possible
 
should i bother getting a hero from smelus or wait for a hspa winmo phone from them? i dont think android will cut it...... ics tweak for example. nobody likes tethering fees :(

PDANet will allow it for Android. And from what I have read is free if you aren't streaming.

I'm sure its possible, can't see why it wouldn't be. As long as the Hero is using a processor (or processor line) that is present in a WinMo device. I think you would have to port a build of WinMo using such a similar processor to the Hero.

I cant understand why but if you did I would think the law is another issue. When you buy a WinMo phone, You are paying for the license to use it.
