Google Calendar Synch?

I use the Google calendar for work and I was wondering if anyone knows how to synch it with the calendar on the Hero?

in your data synchronization settings, there is a check box for calendar, contacts and mail services from google... set it up and all should be well... i use it for work too, i type my appointments in on the computer and in about 2 min it shows up on my calendar on the hero...

Along the same lines, how well does the phone handle multiple Google Calendars? For example, I have my main calendar and I create a new one for bills. On the phone, can you easily distinguish which events are on my main calendar and which are on the bills calendar?

When created a new event, how do you choose which calendar to have it created in?

Here's what the Calendar widget looks like when you have events scheduled:

You can't really see what you have scheduled until you open it up.

Google Calendars on Android will sync with all the calendars you have.
As you can see here:

When you add a new event you get this screen:

which will allow you to change which calendar you sync to:

Thanks dannzeman. I am very anxious to get an Android phone as I use so many of Google's services (gmail, calendar, voice, latitude, etc). It will be nice to have them working out of the box and not have to do a bunch of tweaking and have 3rd party apps.

How did you get those extra calendars to show up? I have my Facebook events linked to my Google calendar but the events won't show up on my phone unless I copy each event manually from the Facebook one to the Google one. I thought it would show up like yours do so I could choose to sync with it.

Re: Google Calendar Synch?

Has anyone found and application or widget that shows a "week view"?

I find that to be the most useful calendar view, and its lacking on the stock hero calendar.

Here's a link to a google support thread that might help:
