I wish! I want vlc to port but it may take the community to develop like tcpmp did. You can play .flv with HTC flash I think because it will do YouTube. But im not sure.

i found an easy way to convert youtube vids straight to our phones... first i downloaded "free youtube downloader" to my laptop. 2nd, i went to youtube and copied the url of my favorite video. 3rd, i pasted it in the huge pink box. 4th, i plugged my phone in, went to home, menu, notifications, and mounted my sd card. 5th, i changed my output folder to be a folder thats on my Hero. then at the bottom of the page i changed format to play in mp-4..Last, i pressed download..... Thats it!!!!!!!!!!! i dont need tcpmp anymore!! And i use Meridian player by the way!

uhhh, how big of a sd card can i get for our Hreo? how big of an sd card can i have without it affecting me flashing roms.... Or can i root, flash roms, apps2sd, etc., on a 32 gig sd card?

Hero can accept 32gb micro sdhc

then ill be gettin a 16gb.. thankz! Thacounty, how or what can i do to upload photos on backpage? i wanna sell my touchpro and a couple of other things, and i cant seem to be able to upload images like i could with my tp... it says " uploads disabled"... other than that im lovin my Hero

Try doing this without using the mobile version of the browser and see if it is disabled in the mobile site instead of on your phone.

its disabled in setting/mobile view(unchecked).. now how do i use the internet without using the mobile version of the browser? thanks again....

opera mini 4.2 in the app store did the trick!!!!!! i can upload picks and i like the speed and stability of the browser..... i wanna thankyou for helpin make my android/hero experience a good one... now i guess ill wait for the next rom! my phone is perfect but imma flashaholic! ever try the "steamy window" app? its goofy, but cool!
