Sprint Hero and Donut 1.6
 

Got my Hero from Best Buy and looked and saw the Firmware version was 1.5

I tried a SYSTEM UPDATE for Firmware but it said none was found.
I did a bit of googling and saw a mention that you it was OTA or you could do the system update.

What gives? Anyone else get theirs to 1.6? Is the Sprint Hero able to run Donut?

sprint store will do it for ya, they brick it, they keep it.

you can update using your computer if you not a computer savvy they will do it for you..

i think 1.6 went out gradually (to ease server load is the only reason i can think of why) but i saw several mytouch3Gs and G1s get updates on different days so maybe its coming

I've got so much to learn with this, its like when I first got my Touch/Vogue. I am completely lost. What does the 1.6 update offer that 1.5 doesn't have?

i would do it myself but i'm the type that doesn't like people messing with my phone but sprint will do it for you at no charge
