Just for those who didn't know, which I am sure many do, Best Buy is doing a preorder on the Sprint Hero. You just have to go into your local Best Buy and fill out a preorder form and give them a $50 deposit.

I wouldnt consider it a deposit as its really just a 50 dollar gift card you must purchase which can be used on anything in best buy including but not limited to HTC Hero.

BB is releasing the phone to Reward Zone members on Oct 9th.

Yes they are and i am 1, wohoo... cannot wait, i am getting very excited about the hero!! i have the tp and love it, but i have gotten bored so on to the Hero!:headbang:

According to Sprint, Sero users can not register Hero. :(

Whats this I am a Reward Zone member and the dude called me today to set up my pick up for Sunday or Monday :(. Is this only in certain areas? Do I have to do or say something special to BB?

So I looked into this and I think the only reason I was unaware was because my Reward Zone online account was not set up. I will be going tomorrow morning bright and early to any and every Best Buy necessary to get my Hero early! Got my Hero its a nice little phone will take me a bit to figure it all out. I was wanting to know if there was any sites setup for hacking or modifing the OS? So far though signal seems a little low compared to other phones but that could just be where I am at now...
