Sprint to US Cellular radio switch - Possible?

Hi there,

Ive a CDMA Hero on sprint. Ive been with sprint probably for the last 6 years, and have been pleased with their service thus far. Only problem is, Ive never had service at my house. I get a couple bars outside, and inside I get 2 or less bars.

Just a few months ago, they finished building a US Cellular tower literally less than a few hundred feet away.

So the question is, is there any way to flash a US cellular radio onto my Sprint Hero, or is this just a dream of mine?

I'll take a stab here.
If there is a USC radio for the Hero then yes you can flash it, ............. But just because it's that carrier radio and that tower doesn't mean you'll connect to it.
PRL's "Preferred Roaming List's" determine the towers that you connect to.

I have my Hero rooted, but I just installed the latest Radio release from Sprint and it fixed my signal problems in every way strength and stability.
