TV-Out??
 

Whats good fellas?

My brother and I were currently talking (He has the Hero, I have a Rhodium) about my Rhodium and its TV-Out function and we got to thinking, Based on the fact that the Rhodium and the Hero have the same input for charging and it is the same output for the TV-Out function,

Will the Hero do TV out?

I know back in like September of 2009 the Hero did not do it, but I also realize that companies tend to update their hardware and such, so I was just wondering if you bought a new Hero today (or in the last like 3 months) if they would have implemented that feature?

Thanks for any help on the subject.

Also is the TV-Out feature a hardware or a software limitation? So for instance, would I be able to write a Custom ROM with this feature?

Doing some searching on the internet with Google, I came across this link:

Which essentially says that the HTC Hero is not capable of TV out.

Right on.

Yeah I tried to use google (So please no UTFSE or use google dumbass remarks), however it seemed to be a grab bag of contradicting information.

Thanks again for the heads up, this is what I though, but wanted to verify before I crushed his hopes.
