Remove Visual Voice Mail on Sprint Hero CDMA?
 

I would like to remove visual voice mail and revert back to reg. voice mail notification, since my carrier does not support VVM, thanks in advance!

If you are rooted just remove it with root explorer from system/apps

Yes it is rooted, I only got the hero a few days ago, still trying to figure it out.

When you say root explorer, is it something I can find on the market?

So I have finally tried that for my friend, the visual voice mail was removed, however there is still no voice mail notification, ideas?

try :settings>call>voicemail services>and select my carrier...maybe...

Tried that already, didn't make any difference. Personally I haev a Verizon Droid Eris, and don't have this problem, anyway to extract APK from Eris to restore voice mail notification on Hero?
