wtf does this even mean?

This happens whenever facebook makes any big changes to things on thier site. When they redid the whole look of the site the facebook app wouldn't work right randomly for a few days. They have been changing the privacy settings for peoples accounts and that is most likely what is causing the issue. No one i know can access facebook through the android app right now.

No problem. I couldn't figure it out the first time i saw this happen. Then I saw some people on twitter complaining about some change on facebook and a light went off. Now whenever there is a change on facebook i just wait for that "null" error to come up. It'll resolve itself hopefully in a couple of days, until then the site should work fine.

Now as a Sprint tech trying to explain that to someone who doesn't get how to use thier android phone that they just bought...thats going to be fun times for the next couple days. Yay...

I kept getting that today, as well. First thing I did was pop open my PocketNow RSS Feed and sure enough, "Problems with your Android Facebook app?" was the first one on the list.

My facebook app started working again. Looks like it's been all worked out.

Yep, I thought it was a problem with my phone and then my wife on the stock 2.1 moment rom said she was having the same issues. Seems to be mostly cleared up now.

I was about to throw my phone because it wouldn't work... good thing I read this first.
