WIFI Tether Security

I am having some trouble putting a security key on my WIFI tether. I have Enable WIFI Encryption checked and I have a password installed and I changed the SSID but when I connect with my laptop, it never asks for a password. I dont want people in my office to leach off of my signal. Lol. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

WEP will not work for some reason. Put on access control. Then you can see who is trying to connect and you only have to allow yourself.

Yeah, the phone will vibrate whenever someone connects, and you can kick them off. Also, name your network something off-putting. Mine is called "I killed your whole family"

I couldnt figure out how to boot people. I could see them connect but there was no option to kick them off.
