help setting up google voice
 

Ok I went to the app market place and downloaded Google voice it asks me to set up from Google.com/voice but tha- it says I need an invite.....? Any ideas?

Do you actually have a Google Voice account? If you do not then the application is of no use to you until you get an account, and I think the only way to get one is with an invite, and they seem few and far between. You can sign up I think, I am not sure how long it takes after sign up though.

So do I have to pay monthly for this Google voice account?

No, it is free, but you can buy calling credits I think, for like international calls and stuff like that.

It's invite only right now. If you don't have it, i hope you know someone that does.

or go on ebay and buy one for around 2-4 bucks. No its not monthly.
