I am trying to update 2 apps and dl a new one but it just stays stuck on "starting download" . I am logged onto gmail and even tried with WiFi but still stuck. Any ideas as to why?
TIA

make sure you have enough space on your hero. i had the same problem and when i uninstalled some apps and restarted the phone, the new apps installed just like they should

found solution. go to "Settings", "Application", "Manage Applications", scroll down and look for "Market" - clear cache and then go back into Market. It should prompt you to sign in, sign back in and try to download apps again. If didn't work, try clear cache for Google related apps Google Apps, GTalk...Don't need to reboot.
