help, please. trying to root hero.

i am having the hardest time rooting my phone, is there an easy way, im trying to use fresh, and its not working for me. i dont know what im doing wrong. any advice? please help.

poke around on http://geekfor.me and look for the pre-kitchen. It has an auto-rooter.

Yes, but the auto rooter has a bug in it, so be sure to get the fix for it as well. VERY EASY INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW on how to put the fix into the fresh pre kitchen. Once that is done, rooting is easy, just also make sure you go to the help button inside the kitchen to run the test. I have been unable to root unless all the boxes have green checks in them. If you don't have green checks in the boxes, sometimes to fix that, it is as easy as rebooting your hero. I have rooted about 7 or 8 hero so far this way except mine. I had to learn the hard way with mine...lol. Le me know if you need help. Best!

Also keep in mind, Windows 7 machines sometimes have issues with the pre-kitchen root method. If you have an XP or vista machine, you might want to root with it instead.
