Thinking about making the swap to a HERO from a touch pro 2
as the title says, im looking to make the switch from a TP2 to the HERO. I guess im just getting tired of winmo. I'm not TOO familiar with the HERO let alone the android OS, but i hear good things. My roommate got the hero and messed around with his a bit and it seemed like a great phone.
Basically just looking for pros and cons if any :) Thanks. |

Well I made the exact same switch. I had the TP/TP2/Hero. I hated the Hero for like the first 3 days with total buyers remorse, but when I finally got used to the on screen keyboard, and found some very cool and useful apps, I was and still am deeply and seductively in love with my Hero. Every night I have my wife on one side of my bed, and my Hero on the other. If my Hero had lips I would make out with it.
It is WAYYYY more customizable IMO, and a whole heck of alot easier to learn how to customize. With the help of Flipzmode and his pre kitch, you can do anything you want to your Hero. Use the Force, and follow your mind to the Hero, because we are the Now Generation! |

Well I came from the Diamond. I didnt have the first 3 day attitude. As soon as I started using it, i knew i would be happy. Definitely a great little phone and so much potential for the android series.

i had the touch pro then went to the blackberry tour ( great phone ) then to the hero then to the moment . then back to the hero where im going to stay till sprint gets the nexus or another power house android phone .
the main reason i hated the hero at work was the on screen keyboard it was way to touchy but went back to the hep when my wife needed a phone ( gave her my moment ) since i haver slowed my typing down a bit the hero is great ! hero has some great apps as well ROOT that phone load up a new rom and enjoy |

yup i to come from a Mogule/Diamond/TP/TP2 and i totally love my HERO..they keyboard was not a problem as i use a IPHONE for work and already use to the onscreen keys. i even like the HERO more then the IPHONE.....only 2 ways will make me part from my HERO, death or a nexus one...:mrgreen: i even gave up a SERO account for the HERO..i have 3 phones on my account and they are all HEROs..
