multitouch

Currently running fresh rom 1.1 and modaco kernel. maybe it has always worked and I just never noticed it but, long story short...

I was using the stock browser today and was able to pinch zoom and was able to do the same with pictures... I don't feel like going to the basement to check the manual but I'm pretty sure this isn't a stock feature. So did I just get lucky or do other people have multitouch working? I don't recall this being mentioned but I don't really go through the forums like I used to... nice part about android is I'm not constantly trying to fix things like I was with WinMo (and yes I did search so if this has been covered deal with it)

haha, no bubbles burst. I just never noticed it working before. Just didn't know if some strange combination of flashing had done something special oh well...

It's from HTC's SenseUI. Stop using SenseUI multi touch stops.

Search Google maps in the market. Unfortunately you will not be able to use the Google navigation and/or Buzz version 4.0 unless your running one of the 1.6 and up Dev
roms

Google maps should already be loaded on the phone. Unless the rom you loaded on your phone did not have the maps application. I have the stock, non-rooted (1.56) hero, and google maps is there. Like mentioned earlier, you can't use the new version of GM with android 1.5.
