Exchange Sync and WiFi
 

Hello all;

I've had my Hero for 2 days now and have discovered that it will not sync with my exchange server email when I have the WiFi turned on. Has anyone else had this problem and are there any known work arounds? It even seems to have trouble downloading app's from the market with WiFi on. Browser, gmail, FaceBook, Twitter, ect. all work fine with WiFi.

Any help would be appreciated!

Can't help on the Exchange thing, but I am able to download/update apps from the market while only connected to WiFi. It takes longer to initiate the download, but other than that, everything works as normal. I also set the wifi on my phone to never sleep, so that way the connection doesn't shut off when my phone is sleeping.

are you using the built in exchange support or an app. I used TouchDown and had no problem with Wifi or the data from Sprint.

Possible the WiFi network you are using is not allowing those connections? Try several different WiFi spots.
