Depends on when you got your Hero. If you got it before the MR (Maintenance Release) yes check "with Google" then re-run the auto-rooter without checking the "with Google." I would check the box and when it's done re-run the auto-rooter without checking it. All this does is establish which recovery image to install on your Hero. Good luck!
