dual notifications on sms

I'm getting two notifications on my droid. one through the stock sms client and one through handsent. how do I disable the default one?

how? id like to use handent, but uninstalled it beause of dual notifications... i dont know how to disable stock sms

If not, go into messaging and turn off notifications.
