Hero alarm issues

alarms on my hero don't work for beans. if the phone is awake it'll work but if its sleeping, don't count on it as I have for getting up to go to work...late. anyone else have this problem? the funny thing is, I've set calendar appointments to see if they'll go off along with 3 alarms, calendar appointments go off but alarms do not. why don't alarms wake up the system yet calendar does?

Is your phone extremely laggy at the same time that this happens? Well I'll state the general rule.... if 95% of people aren't having your problem then it's something wrong if your phone. Either something you installed or an application that just isn't working right.

Just to make sure, are you checking off the correct day of the week that you want it going off? and is the box checked off for the alarm to ring?

I thought mine wasn't working at one point but simple things throw it off like it being on AM instead of PM or something like that.

if your using a task manager, make sure not to kill the clock.

yes all days are checked just to make it easier. and yes, I need it to go off in the am and it doesn't. no I don't kill the clock before I go to sleep. I've tested it before, and if its sleeping, it just doesn't go off. if It's awake while screen is off it'll work. its the stock alarm clock that comes with phone. its been happening ever since the sprint update, go figure. heck, I just think phone goes in deep sleep and doesn't wanna wake as I don't either lol. but it needs to work. don't get why it doesn't. ill just use my calendar if I have to. least that works. oh and I'm still on stock rom.

Use an alarm app. HTC alarms have never been very good IMHO.

i've had no problems with my alarm so definitely check out what others are saying. I have several alarms for each day and all work well whether plugged in or sleeping on battery power.

On top of alarms working, i'm getting my daily reminders from my Google synced calendar.
