Handcent SMS "unable to display this message"
Why is it that when I recieve some MMS messages, it will say "unable to display this message", but when I open the stock app, it shows the contents and media? Is this a bug with Handcent or should I just uninstall and reinstall the app instead of just doing the updates? Hopefully I can get some insite from the gurus here lol :)

Is your WiFi on ? This would give you that message.

the question is what type of message are u recieving? if its an mms message maybe handcent wont support it but the stock one does

I would try looking into the settings and make sure auto retrieve is on. Also if your roaming make sure your phone is set up to retrieve messages while doing so. If that doesn't work try reinstalling. I have found my unit to have a version of handcent that wasn't coded right from an update |

If I recall, handcent has a known issue with "slideshows". so multiple pictures in one message.
