HTC Sync issues....
 

I don't know what is going on but when I formatted my laptop to windows 7 (coming from vista) I can't seem to install HTC sync to backup all my contents.... any ways to get around this?

Problem solved.

download this file.

then extract it here.

%SystemDrive%:\Program Files (x86)\HTC\HTC Driver\Driver Files\Vista_x64 (for the Windows 7 64-bit) or %SystemDrive%:\Program Files (x86)\HTC\HTC Driver\Driver Files\Vista_x86 (for the Windows 7 32-bit) accordingly.

Be sure to go to device manager and update the ADB drivers. (go to the htc driver folder from browse)

htc admitted that the installer doesnt install the proper drivers for it and there gonna change it with the next update

yea, well it should be pretty simple since vista drivers work with windows 7.
