question about apps2sd

ok i have fresh rom 1.0 and i did the ext2 partition thing from the power home button menu after i formatted my card with a 512 mb ext2 part is there a way to tell if its being installed in the right place

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 1.5; en-us; A6277 Build/CUPCAKE) AppleWebKit/528.5+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.2 Mobile Safari/525.20.1)

Look at settings sd and phone storage. If phone storage is more than 40 it worked. Also in my tips thread there's a more elaborate way linked.

Re: question about apps2sd

I received my phone New Years and that same day had it rooted and flashed with Fresh 1.1, and had a bunch of apps installed, noticed my phone was getting sluggish, and then realized I did not have apps2sd/SD card setup right.

I formatted my sd card to the 3 partitions like in the tutorial, did the test to see if it works and it is (by that I mean it shows my data folders in my sd card, according to the tutorial also) I have 99 mb free on my phones storage at immediate boot, but how do I know that all my apps are on my card and it worked? does it do it automatically? or is there an app or something I have to do?

Thank You

Re: question about apps2sd

It happens after you make a partition. If you have 99MB available its right haha. Mine has 32 after a cache clear! I don't run A2SD2
