Home promotion for Sprint

A Sprint store manager said it is possible with the Everything Data Plan. Basically you can call any Lan line unlimited and still get Any Mobile Any Time.

Anyone heard of this 'Home Promotion'?

Edit: it seems that it is only available with new activation of a Sprint account? Otherwise, it costs $5/month... Isn't that some B/S

$5 isn't bad actually.....IMO tho.
Do you have to consult a rep (as an exsiting customer) or is it visible in "add-ons" on the site account?

this iption isnt new, its sort of old but never advertised, there is a 3 and 5 number option, i've had the 3 number options going on two years now for free. try ecare and they might add it to your account for free, only thing is you have to call them up to change the numbers and they come active next billing cycle.

edit: just looked it up and its mobile-2-home

No, you're referring to a different feature created to compete woth t-mobiles fave 5. What the OP refers to calling any landline phone in the U.S. for free in addition to any mobile.

hmmmm, I'm subscribing to this thread.. between any mobile and any land line, that's virtually unlimited minutes for free.. your minute timer would only run on toll free calls.

I'll gladly do that and save $25 over the simply everything unlimited plan.

Guys, what I am referring to is called the Sprint to Home feature. You can add any ONE landline that you may call unlimited. From my research, this seems to be free with NEW activation, otherwise you have to pay $5/month (which isn't bad considering the one landline I call every month for about 800 minutes...lol). Anyway some say you can still get it free if you can make your way to the 'Retention' department within Sprint's customer service call, but that would mean I would have to get all pissed off, and act like I'm going to leave, and start crying about something, then beg them to add this feature on for me at no extra charge...... I don't want to go through all that just to call home and find out how my peeps are doing. I never go over my mins anyway, so I'm fine. I just thought it would be cool to have something like this for free. So thanks for all your input

peace-br

Re: Home promotion for Sprint

I was given "pick 5" on each of my three lines by the retention department about 3 months ago. I will save the long story for another day, but my very old 2,000 minute plan w/ unlimited data, text, n/w @7 for 2 phones at $90 per month was royally screwed up when I added a third line and I was really going to leave Sprint (and I had no commitment). They gave me the pick 5 on each line to offset the fact that my plan suddenly cost me more money with less minutes.

2 months later, I purchased the Hero, and had to take an everything plan. They allowed me to keep the pick 5, which I was told they no longer offer. Between those 5 numbers each and the fact that all mobile calls are included (in the everything plan), I have it made.

That's awesome, but seriously, almost every call I make is to another cell phone. I do call home a lot because my RENTS are crazy, but example, I have the Everything Data Family Plan for me and the wifey, last month we used 1132mins calling landlines (because we moved so we had a lot of moving biz to take care of involving calling landlines) and we used 2057 mins calling other cell phones.... That is why I really dont care about the unlimited lanline thing, because almost everyone I know has a cell I call....
