Thinking of taking the plunge
I currently have an old htc touch on sprint and I still like it with my spb mobile shell on it. But really looking at the Hero, does it run word and excell. I rarely use them but every once and a while... it's nice to have.

I know there is Documents to Go:
http://www.dataviz.com/products/documentstogo/android/ But that costs $20, however it is one of the better suites for blackberry.. I don't know of any others as I do not have the phone yet.. |

Docs 2 go is $10 til January. |
Re: Thinking of taking the plunge
Quick office comes with the phone. Does it do it? I dunno. I've never opened it haha. But if you are only trying to read them and not edit them then I'm pretty sure quick office does it.

Docs 2 go has a free version if you just want to read them. To edit you need to pay.

Re: Thinking of taking the plunge
Put it this way, nothing is coming out for sprint on jan that's worth while.
HTC's line up this year isn't all that great and I'm just interested in 1 device and 1 only that has snapdragon engine but it will probably take a while to get ported to cdma. It's already December and if they didn't leak anything (and they usually do) that means it's not coming anytime soon. Just do yourself a favor and get the phone and enjoy ;) |
Re: Thinking of taking the plunge
quick office works fine for me.
