Haha its all good. I tried it too before reading. Then I remembered the problem with my TP and that I needed that MSL code. Weak sauce.

You are right in Europe(United Kingdom) but you are wrong in the U.S.

Access Overload Class (ACCOLC) in the United States is a tad different from Access Overload Control (ACCOLC) in the United Kingdom

The Access overload class in the U.S. is from 0-9 for priority "class". UK extends to 10-15 for the priority "control" numbers & uses them in a different way for leveling.

So Bradart is right.

(My point wasn't the extended ranges which aren't used in the us... It was the incorrect direction he recommended. Regardless it's not important as it's not used.)

Hey guys! I've flashed my HTC Hero from Sprint to Metro PCS. I call 611 and Metro answers so it seems that I've done prl writing and everything else correct. So now how do I transfer my personal data(current metro pcs phone number) to my new phone? What do I need to change in EPST mode (when dialing ##3282#) ?? I know that I should write my current phone number to Mobile Directory Number MDN, but the only one I have is MSID. Is it the same? I put my phone number in there but when I try to call any number except for 611 it says "welcome to america roaming network.." something like that. What else do I need to do?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

My ACCOLC is set to 0 by default... I did a google search on "Sprint ACCOLC" and came up with many sources stating that by default your ACCOLC is set to the last digit of your MSID which in most cases is equivalent to your phone number. In my case my phone number ends in 0 as well.

Does anyone have solid proof that 0 is high priority and 9 is low? I haven't been able find evidence of this anywhere, only contradictory statements made by users of different websites saying 9 is the highest priority, others saying 0 is the highest, and 10 (a value we can't set) is used as for emergency and government officials.

I have always heard 1 and 0 were unusable because of Govt officials, then 2 was best then 3 etc... I have no idea to be honest.

Same here, I started at 0. Which is odd but it really doesn't come into play unless (for ex.) an area wide emergency has every phone going (Think 9/11 attack).

When you think about it, the only thing that really makes the information confusing is the ACCOLC abbreviation.

The Access Overload Class (0-9) is U.S. based, Access Overload Control is U.K. based (0-15). Both systems apply the number's priority, differently.
