Rom Update Error

Hey guys!
I have a HTC Hermes/i-mate Jasjam and have tried to install an upgrade rom. I establish a connection with activesync, and run the rom update. Everything goes well untill my ppc goes to the 'rainbow' screen and activesync disconnects. After a couple of minutes I get an error 260 message... PLEASE HELP!!!

Have you got the latest version of active sync? The version I have is 4.5.0
