Is it possible to Unlock the HD2 to work on my sprint plan ?

op sprint is cdma and t-mo is gsm.

What's not cool is tmo and ATT are both GSM but run on different frequencies....you can unlock one and use on the other, but you won't get 3g data.

WOW . thats great . ha . so my friend who has the iPhone unlocked to the Tmo network isnt getting 3g ?

the is some overlap on phones that support more bands than just the ones their carrier uses. im not sure on the iphone but i do know some work. unfortuntley i have an unlocked HD2 on ATT but cannot get 3g

You can't jump ship with US GSM, they use different frequencies (per my earlier post :)) ..you will get calls and text but edge data :(.
