Energy Rom and Wifi Router

I have bought this new hd2 and installed the energy rom.

trying to tether using the builtin router,

when i open the modem router, it says the network name is Energy and WEP password is 1234567890

computer sees the connection, but doesn't establishes the connection.

in the wifi section i do see that network setting, with ad-hoc for energy so everything seems to be fine, but i dont know why it doesnt work.

when i installed the software wmwifirouter, it works fine, and i can get internet, even though bought do the same thing, one works other one doesn't

any ideas?

yes i have this problem but heres a work-around. the reason why it discounect is because of the backlight. so go to setting-sound&dislplays-backlightsettings- and uncheck the box that sais "turn of device if not used for" press and ok and now you shouldnt have that problem. unchecking this wont turn off ur your screen automatically. you could always go back and check it once your done
