HD2 - t-mobile USA in china problem
 

I have HD2 t-mobile (USA) phone and I am in china for a trip. I bought the local sim China mobile - voice call works fine I am having problem with data (internet).
I have also turned the service for GPRS plans but I cant get to the internet.

I use to get the error of GPRS before the data plan.
I tried the authentication PAP and CHAP but the same thing happened.
disable HSDPA/HSUPA

I would appreciate for any idea's, for now i am clueless. ](*,)

You would have to manually enter all the data settings for that particular carrier.

Settings>All Settings>Connections>Connections>Add Connection

also does any provider use tmo data frequency to access 2g? not sure it does

I did enter the manual setting which is I know as access point - cmnet and rest as blank. when you boot the phone/rest it comes up with STK service with several options but with unreadable characters.

did you contact china mobile and let them know you want the data plan?? I use CM and had to let them know I wanted a data plan as the usual plan doesnt offer it...you have to specify data with them
