HD2 on At&t NO DATA :O
 

hi, well...my problem is i just recently bought an unlocked T-mobile hd2 to be used on At&t, it runs on edge as expected and i am fine with that, but when not on wifi the internet browsers and apps like youtube and facebook i get "Cannot Connect" messages telling me i have no connection to the internet, i do have a data plan on att but it is for the iphone, i was thinking maybe the reason for this is because the iphone data plan is somehow different then what this phone can recognize, but i am not for certain, if anyone else has had this happen to them or knows what the problem might be i would greatly appreciate some info, thanks :)

apparently i need to change the APN of the phone, does anyone know how to do that for the HD2?

Go to the settings tab>press menu>all settings>connections>connections>manage connections. you will need to change epc.tmobile.com to whatever att is.

i think you type in (wap.cingular) then hit next then hit finish.....:headbang:
