Excuse my pool cover...I've been too busy / lazy to open it up plus I'm dreading paying for the maintenance this year out of fear it needs a new filter...which will cost me about 8 times what my HD2 cost me...so I'm not opening it until at least june lol...

Anyway...this is the best screen protector I've ever used. Still looks good even in sunlight, you can almost never see finger prints on it. Perfectly fit mirror for the screen.

does it have that rainbow oil slick effect when you turn the screen on? i bought some mirror screen protectors for my tp2 & had to take them off cause the rainbows gave me a headache.

BARELY...the only time I ever notice a rainbow effect is when I'm looking at the phone when it is completely sideways, and even then it is very slight. Clarity is SUPERB with the pointmobile mirror protectors...it literally looks like there is nothing there when the screen is on.

The only thing I did notice is that I couldn't cut them with scissors because the protector has a protective film on the sticky side, and on the mirror side...so when you use scissors it's cutting through three different pieces of plastic and causes it to bunch up and be jagged. I used a razor blade to cut out mine and it came out PERFECT, I can't stress enough how clean this looks on the phone and again, the rainbow effect is just not there...it's only when you really put the phone all the way to the side and then you can barely notice it.

I have used screen protectors on all my phones. I am a bit anal about any scratches on my displays.

But for the first time I don't have one, on my HD2. Why? Because it has a hardened glass display front. That is not susceptible to scratches. So I don't need a screen protector.

Note: There is a YouTube video where the guy tries to scratch his HD2 screen with various things, including keys, and he could not. Check it out.
