Upgraded to the HTC HD. I see all the cool ROMS and appliations but i'm clueless on how you load and launch them on the phone. Can someone help a brotha out please.

Alos any recommendations on things to do for a new user.

welcome to the site. there aren't many hd roms and tweaks here at the moment, but try our sister site http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=451. that link is the entire hd section :).

Do you have a HD or the new HD2 from t-mobile? The HD is only a european device, not available from T-Mo in the states. This is something you need to know for certain before you try anything to do with roms.
