did a hard reset, now all the apps and transformers are gone!

just got a HD2 from radioshack yesterday, charged me $249 instead of the $149, but i think its because of my credit. anyways, its a great phone, but tried some cabs from xda and i think they messed it up, so i did a hard reset, but it wiped out all the apps and transformer movies from the sd card. i forgot to back up the files from there, so is there any way or process to get them back? i know the movies are huge files, but wonder if tmobile has them on a server somewhere or can send a new card?

A hard reset should not have messed with the SD Card what so ever.
Have you tried pluggin the sd card into a computer and seeing if it recognizes the files?
Are you 100% its an sd card?

If a computer will not recognize the files, and it is infact an sd card, you need a file recovery program. Be careful which one you choose as alot of file recovery programs have free trials, but the free trials will not allow you to actually recover the data (they'll run as if it will allow you to, but when it comes to actually saving the recovered data, the option will be disabled).
If you really need a data recovery program that will work, PM me and I'll send you a link to a free one. (But do try and use google first).

Flashed a new ROM this morning and my storage card is dead as well...it won't recognize on anything right now, looking for a recovery program that will read it now!

Did you flash a 1024Leo specific ROMs, or one of the others. There aren't many US Tmobile Leo ROMs available yet. There is a different in memory and how it is used. I didn't read all of it, or understand all of it, but there ya' go. You probably bricked your phone from what little bit I read of people flashing the wrong one.

No the phone itself is fine, just the storage card is now saying it needs to be formatted to be able to be read.

FYI, 149 for new customers, 249 for upgrade. Tmobile does not change prices per credit scores with radioshack. So if you were a *new* customer to Tmobile and got charged 249, the employee did not add the right price deductions. GO back asap if that is the case.

wow are you serious? that is exactly what happened to me. they said it was because of my credit score, that if i had better credit i would have gotten charged 149. is this for real?

Cant say 100% for certain as each region can do different things, but to charge more for credit challenged folks is absolute bull. The carriers have "Deposits" for that sort of problem, once that deposit is paid or taken care of the retailer does not care one way or another.

Possibilities:
Employee had no idea how to run the P.O.S. and didn't add the rebates, made up some bull excuse to shut you up.

Management is trying this approach to make more bottom line sales in his store (which is idiotic as he will be charged back for ringing up the sale wrong to prevent such issues)

Some states (like Cali) charge you sales tax on the ENTIRE phone. So yes you're buying a phone for 149.99, but you pay tax on that 799.99$ retail value. (That is not no 100$ though)

There is the most minute of minimal chances your region has different prices. (So very very unlikely)
