screen protector question
with the hd2 having a capacitive screen, will it need a screen protector?
|
Re: screen protector question
my assumption is that you can put one on if you want... a know a few people w/ capacitive screen phones (pre, iphone, omnia etc) some have them some dont... I guess its harder to scratch a glass screen than a plastic on (like the one on my tp2) but you can never be too safe so rather i get the supersonic or the hd2 im gonna get a screen protector for sure!

Re: screen protector question
Have had my HD2 (Euro model) for a couple months now. I've treated it like every other phone I've owned. It's rolled around in my car, been in my pocket with keys and change, tossed in a drawer, etc. The glass screen still looks like new. I had one on my HD2, Invisible Shield from Zagg, but I took it off because I didn't like the decreased responsiveness.
My HD before that absolutely needed one though, it would scratch easily. |
Re: screen protector question
That youtube video does seem to answer the question, but im still most likely going to order ghost armor for it once I have the phone and it becomes available. The armor will not only protect the screen but the entire phone and with such a huge screen I imagine it wont take much pressure to possibly crack it.

Re: screen protector question
I use screen protector (cheap one on ebay) and have had no issues, didn t notice any drop in touch - response; i ve just used the 1 in 6 months and its still fine. I have a silicon skin and that helps a lot coz it covers the edges of the protector, so you don t catch it and lift it accidentally. The glass screen is fine, but as you say it probably would be anyway! Works for me!
