CM7 works better IMO. You can grab it in the IRC channel linked on XDA. Toast is the man.

http://bit.ly/hPsNNo Keep in mind it's not even designated beta yet, although I think it has more than enough functionality to be a daily. The only things not working are MMS (with the stock app) and the headphone jack. For MMS you can use gosms from the market and it works fine.
