Re: Default Browser

root it... then use an app like system app remover. easiest way is to download a stock rooted rom and flash that, and then remove all the sprint bloat and crap you don't want. i have like 150mb free after removing flickr and twitter and all the other crap apps, along with their widgets and shit. you can also remove facebook and maps and install them to the sd card to save some more space. you could also partition your sd card.... yeah so root it and then play.

Yeah I should have mentioned that Im already rooted. Im running CM.7 and I want to remove the Default browser that came with my Root. I will try System App remover and see if that works.

Thanks

without an app to remove them, you can go into system/app and delete the apk and then reboot the phone. there are free apps i believe that will also uninstall system apps. to navigate you need an explorer that can access the root, like astro or es.

How do you put facebook on your sd card? I have a rooted HTC evo with stock rom...

Re: Default Browser

just delete the apk off the rom manually in a file explorer, or use a program like system app remover, and then redownload it and move it to the sd card.
