The Sense 3.5 Roms wont play my WMA music...
 

It keeps saying invalid format. The music plays just fine on all other Android 2.3 Roms so ive narrowed it down to just Roms with Sense 3.5. I love Sense 3.5 as im running the new Energy Rom on my phone as it was the most complete as far as working mms texting and even working 720p video. I'd appreciate any feedback u care to give me on this.

Looks like the rom left the wma codec out a buddy told me.

So ive changed roms 3 different times and they still will not play any of my wma files. It says "Unable to play audio file". Please help. I've tried a number of different music apps to play the files and get the same message.

It does play the few mp3 files i have so its got to be the lack of a wma codec in a lot of these roms :(.

Have you checked with the ROM thread and is anyone else having the same issue? If not you might want to post to that thread(s) so they know it's an issue and can work on fixing it, unless you know how to pull the codecs from another version of sense.

He updated the Rom and It now plays WMA music files :). The rest of these Roms need to keep all of the media codecs so we can enjoy their Rom while enjoying our music with the new SRS/Dolby/Beats by Dr. Dre media. I understand they Rom makers are trying to keep the Rom file small enough to fit the EVO but just have the Rom user Partition the SD Card before installing to give the Phone more room for apps and such. Thank you for all of your help.
