4G turns on by itself ??
 

Ok, I upgraded my Evo 4g to the galaxy 2, but just didn't like the phone that much. It's a great phone, but I like HTC and Sense.

So I reactivated my 4G, and gave the galaxy 2 to my girlfriend.

Since the reactivation, every time I restart the phone, the 4G automatically comes on, and I don't live in a 4G area, so it starts sucking the battery. So I have to just turn off the 4G

I have phone rooted with sprintlovers 3.70 rom, I did a factory reset in recovery, wiped cache and delvic and reloaded sprintlovers. I'm still getting the 4G on reboot, and suggestions?

Tried doing a restore from my back up, 4G still turns on by itself when the phone powers up

if you have the latest version of the OTA's, then that could be your problem... that's what sprint tells me

I have a custom ROm and theme. I noticed if I put my phone in airplane mode, when I put it back in normal mode, the 4G comes on by itself.

I never had this problem until I reactivated the phone
