help im stuck in clock work and i cant get out :P
 

as it says im stuck in clockwork and i cant get out of it. i was loading a different rom it gave me a assert failed: write_raw_image("tmp/boot.img"."boot") i thought maybe the download was corrupt and redownloaded and gave it another shot no luck. i did make sure to wipe and clear and all that jazz. i just cant seem to figure it out. im sorry if i left any info out that would help. but any help would be great

oh and i was running off a stock rooted

yep already did that one. just goes right back into CW recovery. when i try the reboot system now button it power cycles back to cw again

I got it back up and running by running an stock ruu. Now I have some wack hoot (6.16) and now I can't root the thing .. good lord what have i done.

I used REV. To root in the first place. The only way I could get out of the recovery was to go into the boot loader and run the stock rom ruu.exe. that got the phone to work but lost my root. When I'm in the bootloader it says revolutionary.on top and that I have s-off with a wacky hboot 6.16 but no recovery I want my root back but not sure how to go about it any suggestions

Once you use rev nothing not even a RUU will put s-on. Just flash a new recovery and you should be good to go.

Yeah there is a method to s-on but its terminal commands and such. The RUU wont effect the unlocked bootloader.

I've been searching Google for quite some time and I can't seem to find a place to download a flashable version of CWM recovery . Do you know of a place to get this file

So that means a person could be screwed if they had to take their phone in for a repair, or send it back to Sprint, first time I have heard this, not that I have checked into it.

I did try using Rom manager to flash the recovery but it keeps giving me an unexcepted error has occurred .. could that be because I don't have SU installed as well? And if thats the case how would a guy flash that with out having a recovery tool to run zip files

I did find a post on xda about that and there is a way to get s-on ... if you did need to bring it in I had it bookmarked ..but lost it when I had to flash the stock Rom. Im sure I could find it again if you need it
