TETHER ISSUE
 

I hope someone can help.. I have been using barnicle wifi tether on my EVO 4G running SPRINT LOVERS 2.2 ROM and the custom auto bump charge kernel. All works fine.. BUT this program creates an AD-HOC network which my HP TOUCHPAD doesnt support..

I am trying to get the free wifi tether program working. I am told on the EVO this will create a regular AP network. I set it up and its running, but neither my PC or my TOUCHPAD can connect.. SOMETIMES I can get the PC to connect but it doesnt get an IP address and the program shows NOTHING connected..

any help would be appreciated....

Go in to the wifi settings for your devices and check that the devices recognise that Barnacle is and adhoc network. I don't believe Barnacle can be set as an access point.

HUH I dont get what yo are saying? Barncle ONLY does AD-HOC networks.. but the latest WIFI TETHER can do regular AP networks.. I got it working as it was the KERNEL I was using..

DOES ANYONE know of an auto-bump charge kernel that supports Netfilter and under-over clocking???
