Here's what I found:

With the new software, it features the following enhancements/fixes:

• Integrated voice recognition accuracy with voice search and voice-to-text
• Image size issue with contact transfer over Bluetooth
• Images cut off in Picasa
• Group contacts not in alphabetical order
• Out of memory, Unable to send SMS

Sprint is pushing out software update 4.53.651.1 to the HTC EVO 4G

Has anyone run this OTA on a rooted 2.3.3? Does it remove root access?

yes, if you run the ota from Sprint, you will lose root but there is a new root method out there. However, there are already a few rooted versions of the update available which of course will keep your phone rooted. Check them out here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-evo-4g...available.html
