rooting problems

i know this been done a million times.these are the stats on the phone
android version 2.3.3
baseband 2.15
kernel version 2.6.35
build number 4.24
software is same as above
pri 2.15
prl 60679
the thing is i did the h boot and updated my drivers which is right here public:windows_hboot_driver_install [RootWiki]
i have just did all my system update just now. im also using unrevoked. when i plug it in it runs like it should then hangs up and says error failed to get root is your firmware new. then right below that recovery image clock work mod recovery. then my phone reboots and cycles back to main screen. also usb debugging is on. any help would be great thanks. i just want to root it to remove bloated things

what's your hboot? if its the latest which i think is 2.16. there is no solution yet. I think unrevoked is working on it though. hope this helps.
