HTC Sync - Synchronizing Contacts to Outlook 2010
 

Hello,

I am having a hard time synchronizing my contacts to outlook 2010 through HTC Sync (I am using the HTC Sync Hero version, since this is the one I was able to have success with).

The problem I am having is that I can synchronize music, documents, photos, bookmarks, etc... but not contact and calendar. My contact are not "saved" unto my phone, they are Google contact. I tried adding a contact to my phone and I had no problem synchronizing it to outlook.

What are my options?

You cant Sync your google contacts with outlook unless you export the contact from google then imported into outlook.

Are you using the 32 bit version of Outlook 2010 or the 64 bit version? I've seen in other forums that it doesn't work well with the 64 bit version

I am using the 32 bit version, though not by choice. The 64 bit version has compatibility issues with almost everything.

I wouldn't even bother with HTC sync, This is what I use:

Also for calendar, Google has their own sync program to sync with outlook. Both work great.

I had the GO Contact Sync Mod installed but I was having problems getting to work. I uninstalled the version I had (a beta version) and installed the latest stable release and everything works flawlessly.
