Possible root for Evo 2.3

I found this at a website called HTC Evo Hacks it says if you run this RUU it will restore your evo to stock 2.2 im not too sure just throwing this out there to see if it works for the new evo owners.

I might be wrong, but i think that is only for people who do NOT have the 2.16 boot loader.
