Help --- Available memory low after upgrading

Hey folks,

I just upgraded to 4.24. the latest stock Sprint rom. And I found that my available memory is only around 150mb, even after I installed Automatic Task killer, Advanced Task killer.

Is it because of the new system? Or Something wrong?

Anyone can give me some advice and/or help?

Thanks!!

Simon

I have heard of others having this same issue, what they did to fix the problem <which you probably don't want to hear> is that they did a factory reset to reclaim space and fixed some other issues.

The best way to fix..... Root your phone. Before i had mine rooted, I would run out of room. Well delete apps and see if it worked and no. I actually deleted all my apps, cleaned Cache and still had no room. But I dont know if there is a root method availible yet for the new 4.24

How much free space did you have before? At 150Mb free, I probably wouldn't worry about it much. I was one of those who had storage issues in this thread...

My storage was normally around 44 Mb. After the update, it was fine, until a few days later when it dropped to about 32Mb. I deleted as much as I could, but was unsuccessful, until I performed a factory reset. My free space jumped to over 200Mb, and was able to add allot more apps. The reset also seemed to fix a few other issues as well. So at 150Mb free, you're probably ok, unless you start having other issues.
