[Much NEEDED Help] Gingerbread 4.24 update caused Launcher issues...HELP?
 

I just updated my HTC Evo 4G to the new gingerbread 4.24 and now I am having issues with not being able to set my-beloved- Go Launcher as my default! It doesn't even give me the option to set any launcher besides the stock Sense it comes with (sorry, but I am just not a fan). Before the update it would allow me to set whichever launcher I want as my default but now there is no such option window that pops up. I have tried all I can think of to figure it out on my own like, going into settings-no such option there, I tried to set it as a customized scene but it doesn't save-just reverts to the Sense, I tried opening the Go Launcher app and then restarting my phone-to no avail, I have tried taking the battery out-still to no avail, I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Go Launcher-still no success.

I really do not want to have to do a factory reset and erase all my apps...grrrr! Please, has anyone come across the same issue or is it just me? Any suggestions or solutions? BTW, I do not have or did not (prior to the update) have a rooted phone.

try home switcher from the market. Also, settings/applications/manage applications/2nd tab on top (all)/htc sense/clear defaults. good luck.
