Wi-Fi Help

I can't hook up to free wi-fi spots in public stores/resturants etc. My phone shows that I am connected but the acceptance page never pops up. I never get to check off the box that I accept the agreement.Hence when I try to connect to the internet I get a connection failed message.

Do I need to do something special to make this happen?

Did you open the browser and try to goto google? It should then ask you to login.

Yes I have.That's my problem it doesn't ask.
